FOURTH OF JULY

floral blouse and sunglasses, H&M, black shorts, Forever 21, gold ring, thrifted

Enjoyed the beautiful New York City weather on my friend's Brooklyn rooftop for Fourth of July. Drank tons of beer, played a few rounds of pong, but most importantly enjoyed some peace and quiet for the first time in a long time. I wouldn't mind moving to this borough if I could have this whenever I want to. Seriously contemplating it.

SEE YOU NEXT SEASON, NYFW

New York Fashion Week ended yesterday and I managed to go to the Patrik Ervell show, Duckie Brown after party at Avenue, and the Jeremy Scott after party at Le Bain. The latter was the highlight of the week. I ran into a lot of friends and had a great time. Hopefully next season I can manage to take part in more. Need to get my resume updated and send it out to every possible publications, firms, agencies, etc. I guess that's what I'll be doing this Spring Break.

ME MYSELF & I

I was utterly bored last night; there's only so much dramas I can watch in one day. I had no plans for the night (I was contemplating on going to the Skins USA Party but knowing that I'll be amongst 16 year old teens that plan was scrapped). Most of my friends have yet to return. Lately, I just haven't been in the mood to take part in nightlife, so instead I decided to swing by my favorite Chinese bakery to pick up some sweet bread. Most stores in Chinatown close fairly early so around 7 PM as they only have an hour or so left before closing, all of their goods are sold at a fairy good discounted price. After discovering this a few weeks ago, I think I've found myself at the bakery at least two times a week. I managed to score coconut, coconut cream, egg custard, and lotus seed. I was quite sad when the lady told me that they ran our of red bean, my favorite.

I also managed to buy light bulbs for my floor lamp. Month after month, a light bulb would go out and by late October, I was living off of sunlight during the day and my small coffee table lamp during the night. Above is a photo to show you how "excited" I was to finally have light fill up my tiny room (I have yet to purchase a new digital camera but I'm planning to do so soon, hopefully).
